The villa is a conversion of an existing amalgamated house built in the 1960s. It is located in the second row from Roskilde Fjord, with views of the water from the entire property due to the sloping terrain. The project has focused on emphasizing the presence of the horizon and creating a white monolithic building – an independent entity within the landscape.
SLOPING ROOF
The lower part of the building is therefore painted black with black wooden strips, which over time will be covered in ivy, thus forming a precise horizontal landscape base on which the white house stands. A new, slightly sloping roof is integrated into the white building volume, creating a significant projecting canopy towards the horizon and the view.
