The Danish Foundation for Culture and Sports Facilities (Lokale- og Anlægs-fonden) donates 2.6 mio. DKK to co-finance the showcase transformation of the traditional gym at Søndermarkskolen, Frederiksberg. Project solutions are des-cribed as “amazingly visionary and inspi-ring”. Simple but radical architectural changes are made, in respect of the preservation-worthy building, and gives Søndermarkskolen an up-to-date school sports facility, also facilitating a wider use of digital teaching tools.
