DELEGÅRDE – STRATEGY TOOL FOR TRANSFORMING FARM BUILDINGS INTO LIVING SPACES

Our new strategy tool, DELEGÅRDE, will be launched at an event on April 9 and will soon be made available to families and communities who want to transform traditional farm properties into shared farms for multiple families or generations. The tool has been developed in collaboration with Byværk and supported by Bevar Mere and Realdania. The purpose of DELEGÅRDE is to provide an overview in the early stages, strengthen dialogue with prospective co-residents, public authorities, and financial institutions and make the path from idea to action clearer and easier to navigate. The ambition is to promote the transformation of existing farms into new forms of housing and activities, contributing to attractive homes with a lower climate footprint by preserving and renovating rather than demolishing and building new.
